INTERNSHIPS

Advanced Energy® supports internships for a variety of positions and locations throughout the company. We strive to ensure that our interns receive valuable work experience in a leading edge technology and manufacturing environment. In addition to providing great work experience, we offer benefits and an enjoyable work environment.

Here is a description of the work and the work environment from some of our interns:

Brian Lee is a former Electrical Engineering Intern who is now an Engineer III. Brian attended Colorado State University School of Engineering. As an Engineering Intern, Brian assembled, tested, and modified circuit boards and power supply units.

“My internship provided me with hands on experience that classes at school did not provide. AE understands that school comes first and they are very flexible with work schedules. AE is above and beyond other employers because of the people who work here. The company employs brilliant people who are not only great people to learn from but are fun to work with as well.”

Ryan Phebus, currently a Business Systems Analyst, is a former PC Support Intern who studied Computer Information Systems. As an intern in the IT department, Ryan’s main responsibilities included setting up all new computers that are purchased for AE employees as well as managing pagers that are distributed to employees.

“My internship was very hands on. I was able to apply what I learned in class to real situations at AE. What I enjoy most about my job are the people I work with. They are all very nice and are always available to help.”

If you are interested in an internship with any of our AE locations, please click here to visit the AE opportunities site. Available internships will have “Intern” as a part of the job title. Thank you for your interest, and good luck with your education and future career.
