FORT COLLINS, Colo., July 13, 2005—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) today announced it received notification from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market that the Company’s common stock will be listed for trading on Nasdaq under its ticker symbol “AEIS” as of the open of business on July 14, 2005.

As previously announced on May 9, 2005, the Company received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market that indicated Advanced Energy was not in compliance with the filing requirement for continued listing set forth in Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(14) due to the lack of an attestation on internal control from its independent auditor under Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The Company filed Form 10-K/A on July 11, 2005 to address this issue.
