FORT COLLINS, CO (June 7, 2000) -- Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) today announced that it has appointed Catherine Kawakami to Director of Investor Relations, a newly created position. Ms. Kawakami has served in various investor relations positions over the past seven years. Most recently, she was the Manager of Investor Relations for E-LOAN, Inc. Prior, she was a Vice President at The Financial Relations Board/BSMG Worldwide where she managed investor relations programs for a number of companies within the semiconductor equipment industry. While there, Ms. Kawakami worked with Advanced Energy as an investor relations consultant for over four years.
