Mr. Smith, 45, has been with Advanced Energy for nine years, serving as Controller for the last seven years. During this time, in addition to being responsible for worldwide financial reporting, Mr. Smith aided in the implementation of the Company’s recently installed enterprise reporting system. He was also responsible for setting up subsidiaries in England and Korea and the financial reporting systems for those subsidiaries. He has responsibility for tax reporting and risk management as well. Mr. Smith is a certified public accountant.
